About the Artist
Beckie Kravetz began her career as a theatrical mask maker. She studied at the Yale School of Drama, and with masters in Italy, Guatemala, and Spain, where she was a Fulbright Fellow. Her theatrical creations evolved into art masks and contemporary figurative sculpture in bronze, ceramic and mixed media. Beckie’s masks and sculptures have been exhibited in galleries and museums across the country.
